Bethany finished her soccer season this month. She had a lot of fun playing and we enjoyed all the visitors who came to see her play. The girls' Thanksgiving programs at their school were very fun. Caroline's preschool class sang several songs on stage with over 100 other kids at school, and then enjoyed their very own "finger food feast". Bethany's first grade class performed a play about the very first Thanksgiving. Each student in the class had a line to say during the performance...Bethany practiced her one line for weeks! ...even Caroline knew the line. Bethany loves her class "family", and especially her teacher, Ms. Brewer.
We spent Thanksgiving in Lake Charles with all of Schuyler's family. The girls had a great time with their aunt and uncles, and of course, Grammy and Poppop. There is always lots to do at Grammy's house...games, afternoon tea, and the rolling beach chair! Helen fixed her usual glorious spread for the big meal, which Caroline managed to sleep through again! We made a visit to Uncle Will's house, and also to see our friend, Adam, and his growing family. Our last day in town we spent on the waterfront in downtown Lake Charles....the playground at Millenium Park, the Sept. 11 Memorial, feeding the ducks, and the alligator pond.
