August & September 2006
This time of year means back to school...and back to work again for Lindsey. We ended the summer with an underwater photo session at the pool. The girls showed off the swimming skills they'd acquired this summer. After a summer-long drought, the girls were excited to get their rain gear out again, even if only for a quick shower.
The big first grader was off to school on August 14th. In contrast to last year's apprehension and nervousness, she was bouncing off the walls on the first day this year, so excited about seeing old friends again.
The first graders at our church are presented with brand-new, age-appropriate, full-length Bibles every year. Bethany was very proud to receive hers. Grammy and Poppop came up for Labor Day weekend, then it was time for Caroline and Lindsey to go back to school!
