February/March 2006

The girls spent part of Spring Break with Papaw and Grandma.  After an Austin handoff, they spent the night in San Antonio, then went on to San Angelo the next day for Mammy's birthday.  They enjoyed spending a little time with their cousin Samantha. The rest of the visit at Papaw's house was filled with dogs, bubbles and airplanes.

Logan is a friend from church.  He spent the day with us when his little brother was born.

Bethany was really into the "madness" this year.  We let her pick her own teams after the first round...she did pick a few of the upsets, even though her choices were school names familiar to her (she picked Texas A&M to win it all!).  She had fun keeping up with everyone's bracket.  She watched a lot of basketball the first few days of the tournament.  We helped Caroline along by finding the schools and states on the map.

Caroline had great fun at a birthday party where all the little girls are made up and dressed up.  They had a fashion show and princess parade...and then had cake!  Caroline still talks about it.

Bethany was very proud of all her creations at her school's Open House.  All the projects fell under a "Texas" theme and she had many things to show off. Uncle Clay and Aunt Robyn shared the experience and got a glimpse of Bethany's classroom firsthand.

Caroline's Open House was the same week.  Her preschool does a program where all 250+ three-, four- and five-year olds perform several songs onstage. Caroline loves to sing and was quite the entertainer.  We welcomed Oma and Uncle Clay for this big event.
