The first set of pictures is from a local

fall festival sponsored by medical practices,

including our pediatrician. The festival was within

walking distance from our house and the weather

was beautiful for this time of year. As you can see

in the pictures, there were a lot of activities for the kids.

We spent Thanksgiving in Sweetwater, TX

with Lindsey's family. Her Uncle Wes hosted the

event at his ranch house close to the feed lot

he owns. It was a real cultural experience for

us all! The girls enjoyed playing with their second

cousin, Samantha. Other family included Wes' friend,

Joy (who actually cooked the whole meal...Yum!),

her dad (Rev. Rogers), Lindsey's parents (John

& Shelby), Lindsey's cousin (JJ & Becca),

and the girls' Uncle Clay.

In the last picture, the girls are walking in high cotton!

The harvest was a little late this year...it was amazing

to see and drive through the endless cotton fields.

What a great learning experience for the girls to

learn about how clothes are made...from plants!
