APRIL 2005
The month began with our annual trip to Angleton to see Kenton's choir perform in their "Blast from the Past" musical. The girls always enjoy the hamburgers and French fries...and have fun dancing to the music, too. We then traveled on to Clear Lake for a quick visit...and boating excursion!...with our friends, Vaughn and Sunshine. Finally, we finished out the long weekend in Lake Charles, so Bethany and Lindsey could attend Uncle Kenton and Aunt Kerry's wedding shower. We all had fun climbing the big tree in front of the house. The girls looked very pretty in their Easter dresses (which they didn't wear on Easter because they were sick!). Caroline loved playing "doctor" with Uncle Kenton...he was a very cooperative patient.
Caroline's birthday was a loads of fun for the big 3-year-old. She enjoyed taking cupcakes to school on her actual birthday. Oma came in for the weekend to help with the big party. Bethany is posing by a fountain at a nearby park in Frisco. Caroline is doing her best "pope" impression in memory of JPII. Grammy even came for a visit and sewed flower girl dresses while she was here. Bethany is not quite sure about it yet...
We all had a great time at the Dallas Car Show...the girls loved being able to climb in and on some of their favorite vehicles. Caroline's favorite was the "Herbie" car and Bethany liked the big black truck!
We enjoyed catching up with our Aggie friends at our annual reunion picnic. There were a few new "old" faces there...couples we hadn't seen since leaving A&M, but are in the Metroplex. There are also a few new babies on the way...since this picture was taken, Matt and Val have already welcomed little Baby Shell #3!
