February/March
2005

This has obviously been a busy year so far because we already managed to skip a month's webpage! February was either uneventful or we forgot to take pictures because all we have documented is Caroline's karaoke debut and Bethany's first ice skating lesson. Caroline was, of course, belting out Veggietales...and Bethany endured the ice with no falls and the desire to do it again sometime (Schuyler, however, may not be up for the task...she didn't fall because he held her up the whole time!)
March is also about to fly past us. During Spring Break, the girls went to stay with Papaw and Grandma in San Antonio for half the week. During that visit, they took a weekend excursion to visit Mammy (Lindsey's grandmother) in San Angelo. Midweek, the girls made their way to Lake Charles to spend the rest of the break with Grammy and Poppop.
Schuyler has been putting in a lot of time at work, but recently some of his work involves outdoor testing of his equipment. On Saturdays, Bethany can join him and the two hang out in the garage/lab building onsite doing projects and putting together latest Bethany's Hummer truck portfolio.
This was our 5th annual Raytheon Egg Hunt (check out 5 years of Easter Bunny), always a treat for the girls. They both graduated to higher age groups this year (we snuck Caroline into the 3-4 bracket.) This year, "bounce house" attractions were added to the festivities, however these were no typical inflatables. Noah's Ark and a Big Airplane (not pictured) housed bouncing areas, mazes and slides. Why didn't they have these things when we were young? Caroline was a little under the weather, so she was not as gung-ho about gathering eggs as her sister. (The wind really bothered her eyes and the egg hunt was on Day 1 of what would become a 5-day viral cold episode for her.)
