The first set of pictures are at a July 4th weekend get-together with the Hoangs. All four kids had a great time in the HUGE inflatable pool in the backyard. Mr. Kiet even let them eat in the pool. Yippee! The girls love to help their Daddy. You might remember another car washing picture of yesteryear. Every now and then, the Halloween costumes make an appearance for a round of dress-up...Caroline may look like she still fits into Piglet, but you can't see that she only has her arms in it! She thought being Pooh was pretty fun, too.
Lindsey and the girls spent a few days at Oma's house in Austin. The dolphin pool was back this summer for even more fun. Caroline's infatuation with the dancing chicken also continued. Bethany wanted to make cookies for Ninny's birthday...notice how baking cookies at grandma's has evolved into the 21st century. Quick and easy! Ninny is enjoying her new house in Georgetown.
Back at home...Caroline put herself in the corner and Bethany is trying to figure out why. Our anniversary snuck up on us, so we had the girls with us that evening. Lindsey decided to involve everyone in a candelit dinner (for 4?) with all the fancy china and crystal. Bethany figured a party was brewing and wanted to bring out the party hats. Caroline may not look too happy in her party hat, but she put it on that way herself!
Grammy came and stayed with the girls for a week while Lindsey went on a mission trip with the church youth group. The girls had lots of fun, Lindsey survived and Schuyler went van shopping! Surprise! Lindsey had a new Ford minivan sitting in the garage when she returned home. Caroline is still talking about the "new van".
On a rare evening, the girls had the giggles and were enjoying "wrestling" with each other. Those "Kodak" moments are hard to pass up...
