We just had so much fun in April that we needed a second page!

If you look closely at the first Lego picture, you'll notice that the Legos are color-coordinated with the desk.  No one should be surprised that Caroline did that all by herself.

The playground pix are from one of our favorite playgrounds in Stonebridge Ranch, just a 5-minute drive away.  The highlight of this playground is a huge sand box.  I let the girls loose to get as dirty as they wanted to, and they obviously milked it for all they could.

Bethany acquired a tea set recently and invited all her "friends" for tea.  All invitees were required to wear a hat for high tea.  Everyone had their fill of pretend tea and crumpets.  Caroline enjoyed having tea so much, she decided the next day that Sunny needed to be included.  She even helped him drink from his cup!

The last picture is from my grandfather's funeral in Austin at the end of the month.  This event marked the only time all of his grandchildren have been together.  For those of you familiar with the family, I've listed names and current residences:

(l-r) Clay Bonner (Carrollton, TX), Lindsey Deitch (McKinney, TX), Charlie Melton (Seattle, WA), Paul Melton (Washington D.C.),  James Melton (Stephenville, TX), John Melton (Richardson, TX), TC McShan (Cedar Park, TX).

We did not take as many pictures at this funeral as we did for my other grandfather a few months ago.  However, Papoo (Jim Lindsey) was another amazing character like our Pappy.  You can read his obituary from the Austin paper.  Another memorial.
