A few visitors and a few trips this month. Uncle Kenton came for a quick visit at Halloween. The girls (and their Mommy and Daddy) were sad to see him go, but we'll catch up with him at Christmas.
Caroline thought Bethany's Pooh suit was just a big Pooh, and carried him all over the house like a stuffed animal! Daddy built a fort one night. Cool! Bethany's class was studying the letter "H" one week, so they had a "Happy Hamburger Hullabaloo" (aka Happy Meal party)...Bethany's mom brought the Happy Meals. Bethany and Clifford helped sweep the floor...Clifford is pretty good with that broom. I found the girls on the couch "reading" together. Bethany is a good big sister...when Caroline actually wants to do what Bethany tells her today. Bethany is always procrastinating going to sleep. We caught her "in the act" this time. Silly Caroline likes to stand on her head...we just call her "Goofus"!
The girls and Mommy took a short trip to Austin before Thanksgiving. We stayed with Oma, but spent a morning out at Ninny and Papoo's house (Lindsey's grandparents). The girls had fun playing with the organ that their Mommy played on when she was little, going to the playground and out to lunch.
We don't have many pictures of our trip to San Angelo at Thanksgiving. Too busy keeping up with the girls, I suppose. We stayed at Lindsey's Uncle Wes' house with Papaw and Grandma. Clay and Robyn joined us as well. The girls loved the stairs to play on, the "secret" passage and all the boy toys that belong to their 5-year-old second cousins. Not to mention, the huge backyard and the high flyin' swings that even Caroline could ride on. We had good visits with Lindsey's grandparents while we were there, and Papaw and Grandma gave us a night "off" to enjoy a San Angelo signature dinner at the Dunbar.
