Bethany had a lot of fun eating watermelon. In typical fashion, though, she's now decided she doesn't like it. Caroline wasn't sure about the watermelon, but she did have fun with her first experience feeding herself with a spoon. She didn't understand why the bowl stuck to her cup when she tried to take a drink. Note how much the yogurt spread between the first and last pictures. Did she actually eat any of it? Yes!
The caption on the bike trailer picture should read, "Have cups, have books, will travel." What a pair! Hopscotch games on the driveway are helping Bethany learn her numbers. She also likes to cut paper, and is becoming more adept at cutting on the lines! Grammy came for a visit while Schuyler and Lindsey had a hot date to see Harry Connick, Jr. in Ft. Worth. She stayed most of the week and had lots of fun with the girls. Bethany's first gymnastics class was on Wed. (6/11). At first, she wasn't too thrilled about doing the activities with the rest of her class, as evidenced in the picture (guess who's sitting up while everyone else is laying down). However, once they moved to the "big" stuff (trampoline, balance beam, cushions), she jumped right in and did a great job following instructions with the rest of her classmates. We've had a lot of rain lately, why not run through puddles! Bethany's also sporting her new "Hello Kitty" umbrella. Oh, by the way, Bethany likes watermelon again.
