The month of March has flown by. We enjoyed a quick visit from Papaw at the beginning of the month. He was in town a few days on business. I'm not sure what Bethany is doing with her underwear on her head...I found her like that when she was "helping" me with the laundry. That silly girl! Incidentally, we have made slow and steady progress on potty training and she is doing very well - no more diapers or pullups! The girls like to ride in the wagon together, although I'm still paranoid that Caroline might "bail out" while the wagon is in motion. Thankfully, she hasn't tried it yet. Caroline isn't quite so sure about Bethany's "tough" love! The weather turned warm around mid-March, and we enjoyed our first picnic of the season. The best part about Bethany's new car seat (we moved Caroline from the infant seat into Bethany's old carseat) was the BOX! Bethany loved it. One day, she even turned it into her library. Caroline was a little apprehensive, but could be coaxed in with toys. The box even became an addition to the "house". Who in the Deitch clan remembers the card table house? Bethany's Daddy played in it when her was her age. We "practiced" for our trip to Houston by getting the portacrib and booster chairs out a few days ahead of time. Bethany liked to fill the portacrib with all the pillows and stuffed animals from her bed!
